Sheer splendour
Rue de l’Université IV certainly lives up to the Left Bank’s artistic reputation. Entering on the second floor, you’ll come first to a toilet room, on the left of the antique-filled dining room. Further along (past the ornamental fireplace) is the entrance to the master bedroom, its turquoise panelling hung with your gallery-owner hosts’ favourite artworks. On the right there’s a study, and a passageway leading to the kitchen. Beyond that are two double bedrooms (one with an ensuite), a toilet room and a bathroom. There’s also a staircase, which takes you up to a fourth bedroom and toilet room.
